Originally from Appleton, WI, Dr. Shreya Patel grew up in the Fox Valley. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she completed an emergency and surgical specialty internship in California. She attempted to leave the Midwest permanently for the beaches of California but was tricked by Ben Larson into returning in exchange for a mini-pony. In addition to owning Galaxy Vet Services, she enjoys multiple aspects of veterinary medicine and also works at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She shares a home with Ben, their three kids, two golden retrievers, three cats, and lots of fish. She is still waiting for her mini-pony to become an official mascot at Unleashed.
